When it comes to a retreat, nobody does it better than Alpha Direct Agency. This year we introduced the first ever CE Team retreat. The weekend event built around our 8 Customer Experience Team member included food, fun, workshops, sight seeing, travel and other leisure.
While “upgrading our excellence” was the tag of the event, its focus was understanding “The Customer Lifecycle” because our service team has a greater impact in retaining our customers with three (3) times more touchpoints in the customer’s experience.
The event which was held in sunny Myrtle Beach, South Carolina took months to plan; remarked the event’s host and CE Team Manager Nancy Ruiz. With the help of Yinette Betances our company’s operations director, our team was greeted with “Team AweCEome” branded gifts and tees.

“It is always fun to take a break from the mundane activities of daily work to learn and play in a different setting with my work family” remarked Latoya Grimes the Company’s Commercial Insurance CE rep per excellence. At the end of the event, I announced that the name “Team AweCEome” has been servicemarked with our unique spelling which has “CE” (customer experience) right in the center of awesome.
I must say that we are fortunate to have this team of service agents. It is in our company’s DNA to challenge each department to raise the bar and the CE Team has definitely accepted the challenge to continue upgrading their excellence.
